Because we, Ronny and Yolande, are ready for a new phase in our lives, we decided to sell Ponciana Superior Guesthouse for health reasons. This allows us to focus more on Pongoa Travel, our travel agency.
Ponciana is an AA Superior Quality Assured Luxury Guesthouse situated on the top of the hill in Hartbeespoort, South Africa. This location gives you a magnificent view over the beautiful region surrounded by the majestic Magalies Mountains. Hartbeespoort is only 25 km away from Pretoria a one hour drive from Johannesburg, what makes that this is a perfect base for both leisure and business customers to Brits industrial and Pelindaba.
Ponciana Superior Guesthouse offers 6 elegant en-suite rooms that offer all the comfort needed, all with a separate theme. In addition, there are plenty of luxurious facilities such as a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool and sun loungers, a bar with pool table, BBQ and pizza oven, darts and board games with large sun terrace, jacuzzi, infra-red sauna and open-air gymnasium. All facilities from the guesthouse include: linen, air conditioning and heating system, furniture, decorative elements, TV’s, DVD player, safe… In addition, a separate living area with bathroom for the gardener. Also a separate toilet for guests.
Furthermore, there is a private living area with 3 bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Also a hall, living room, sitting room, fully equipped kitchen with granite, food waste disposer, cooker and water filter system. The private furniture from the living area is not included.
During 11 years, the guesthouse has built up the necessary acquaintance and an excellent reputation and an extensive customer base. We also have contracts with several companies nearby. In short, the guesthouse is ready to move in, which is a big plus! We are already for multiple years at the top of all accommodation in Hartbeespoortdam. Ponciana Superior Guesthouse also won the 2013 Zoover Award as 3rd best B&B in South Africa. In 2016, we received for the 5th consecutive year the Tripadvisor Award of Excellence and therefore we won the Tripadvisor ‘Hall of Fame’ Award. Further we won many other awards and our guestbook is full of positive comments.
